Viscose fibres and yarns are usually woven or knitted into smooth, soft fabric, which makes it ideal for hot and humid climates. It's important to follow any specific instructions provided on your garment's care label.
What to do:
- Hand wash inside out in cold water.
- If washing by machine, cool wash inside out in a delicates bag and low spin to avoid pilling and snags.
- When drying, shake or roll in a towel to absorb moisture before drying on a line or flat surface.
- Cool iron from the inside or use a cloth between fabric and iron.
- Steam when dry for a crease-free finish.
- Store folded to prevent distortion.
- Check the care tag on your viscose pieces for best washing advice.
What not to do:
- Wring dry.
- Use in a dryer, as it may cause shrinkage or damage.
