Seed Heritage Returns Policy

In addition to your Statutory Rights, the Seed Heritage Returns Policy sets out how you can return your purchase from a Seed Heritage Concept Store, Seed Heritage Outlet Store or Seed Heritage Online (excluding Seed Heritage Concession Stores in department stores) because you:

  • Changed your mind; or
  • Purchased an incorrect size and the product doesn't fit.

You can return your purchase for an exchange or refund under this Returns Policy if:

The product is returned within the following change of mind timeframes

(We have temporarily extended our return and exchange policy from 14 days to 30 days for purchases made both in-store and online)

You return the product in its original condition, unworn and with the tags attached (and the product is not an Excluded Product)

You supply the store receipt/tax invoice or online order confirmation email as proof of purchase

Unless required by local law, gift cards (including eGift Cards), swimwear (except where hygiene seals are intact), underwear, lingerie, hair accessories, cosmetics and jewellery are excluded from this returns policy and cannot be returned because of change of mind or incorrect size/fit.

If you believe your item may be faulty or not as described, you are entitled to request an exchange or refund upon inspection by a Seed Heritage staff member. All products must undergo an inspection to clearly identify the fault before a resolution is provided.

Seed Heritage reserves the right not to accept the return of a faulty product where we inspect the product and reasonably assess that the fault is a result of:

  • Damage caused by neglect or misuse (for example, treatment inconsistent with the product's care instructions or wash guide); or
  • Usual wear and tear following use of the product.

In-store purchases:

If you item was purchased in store please visit one of our standalone Seed Heritage stores for your faulty item to be assessed by one of our team members.

Seed purchases made across Myer or David Jones Seed locations or on their websites must be returned in a Myer or David Jones.

Online Purchases:

If you have purchased your item online you can arrange an inspection via post to our Online facility. To return your purchase via post for inspection, please complete the Return by Post Form (PDF). Please clearly note the fault on the Return by Post Form. You can also contact Customer Service to obtain a free returns link. Alternatively you can visit one of our standalone Seed Heritage stores for your faulty item to be assessed.

[1] Full price products (also known as "white sticker") includes Full Price products purchased during promotional events (such as a time-limited store wide discount event).

[2] Seed Heritage Stores: Sale and Outlet products are identified by their "red sticker". Seed Heritage Online: Sale and Outlet products are identified by their advertisement in the "Sale" or "Outlet" categories.

[3] Return options are only available at Seed Heritage Stores in the same country as the Purchase Location which stock the same class or category of product that you would like to return. For example, Seed Heritage Concept Stores which only stocks Full Price and Sale Baby and Child products can only accept the return of Full Price and Sale Baby and Child Products and cannot accept the return of Women's or Outlet products. [4] If your purchase is eligible for a refund, the same payment used for the purchase, must be used for the refund. You must present photo identification at the time of refund. Your photo identification and the cardholder or account name associated with the payment used must match. If this is not possible, a Returns/Gift Card will be issued for the refund amount.

[5] Seed Heritage is not liable for the in-transit damage or loss of products returned by post to Seed Heritage Online Returns. Seed Heritage recommends that you only use post services with insurance and tracking. Please allow two (2) weeks for your return to be processed once received by Seed Heritage Online returns.

[6] Delivery fees for Seed Heritage Online purchases and postage costs for the "return to online" return option are non-refundable under this returns policy.

Sale and outlet can be returned online via post for a full refund. Sale and outlet cannot be returned in-store for a full refund but can be exchanged.

  • Instant Product Exchange
  • The product can be returned for an instant product exchange for a product of the same price or by paying the difference, a product of a higher price.
  • Refund
  • The product can be returned for a refund to the payment method originally used for purchase.
  • Returns/Gift Card
  • The product can be returned for a refund to a returns/gift card.

Payments made online using the payment options Afterpay or Zip can only be refunded online. Please go to returns via post for more info.

Seed Heritage products purchased at a department store (also known as concession store) are subject to the department store's returns policy. Please contact the department store to confirm their returns policy.

International purchases can be sent back to our Online Returns Facility at your own cost (unless faulty or not as described). Please contact our Customer Care team for more information.

Returns Via Post

The Refund return option is available for Full Price, Sale, and Outlet products purchased from Seed Heritage Online (excluding Click & Collect). All Click & Collect orders are only able to be returned in store (excluding David Jones and Myer locations)

1. Fill and print out the ‘Return by Post’ form

If the Return by Post Form is incomplete or not included with your return, the return may be returned to sender.

2. Post your parcel to our Online Returns Warehouse

Postage costs for the "return to online" return option are non-refundable under this returns policy.

3. Your return will be processed within 5 business days of receipt

When your return is processed, we will send you an email to confirm that your refund has been processed.

In accordance with the Seed Heritage Returns Policy, Seed Heritage Online purchases paid with Afterpay or Zippay can only be returned to the Seed Heritage Online Returns Warehouse for a refund to their respective account.

It is not possible to exchange Afterpay and Zippay purchases at our Online Returns Warehouse.

It is also not possible to return or exchange Afterpay or Zippay purchases in-store at this time. We are working with Afterpay and Zippay to introduce in-store refunds and instant product exchange in the near future.

We no longer accept Openpay as a purchase option for orders
