Styled By Marina DidovichWe invited friends of Seed to preview our
Autumn/Winter collection at an intimate
event, hosted by Marina Didovich. She revealed her favourite pieces from
the new collection and why they
inspired her. Read on to find out more.
“Every wardrobe should carry the classics: a beautifully cut trench, the perfect blazer, an
expensive-looking tee... ”
Which 3 pieces do you love most from Seed’s new A/W collection? Why?
The Mini Houndstooth Suit because I’m sucker for a killer cut! The Suede Leather Clutch because for me,
it’s all about deep chocolate suede this season. And the Merino Wool Tee because I’m currently on the hunt
for classic knitwear.

What’s a winter wardrobe staple that you think everyone should
have?
Good question! I cringe using this word as I think currently in fashion it’s very
overused... but it’s all about a capsule wardrobe at the moment. Every wardrobe should carry
the classics: a beautifully cut trench, the perfect blazer, an expensive-looking tee, a jean
that you feel like a million bucks in.... and don’t overlook comfy socks!
How would you style Seed’s new boots for A/W?
I'm so excited to style up the new knee-high boot styles with midi hemlines, like one of the
midi skirts from Seed’s new collection. There's something undeniably sophisticated about the
way a midi hemline complements a knee-high boot – it not only creates a beautifully layered
silhouette but also exudes an instant touch of chic. A truly effortless, yet elevated
combination!
Do you have any styling hacks/tricks?
My most treasured tip that I tell clients is, “if you’re not feeling it the second you put
it on, then it’s not for you”.

What current trends are you loving?
For me, this season is all about colour and texture. Luxurious suedes and leathers, deep
burgundy and chocolates.
What would you wear for a day at work with dinner plans after?
It’s all about the accessory change. For work, I’d be in some kind of flat (comfort comes
first!) and a very minimal earring. I love Seed’s variety of flat shoes, whether it’s a
loafer or a ballet flat. Before heading to dinner, I would swap out for a heel and
statement, vintage-inspired earring.
