Leather Care

Leather Care

Durable, luxe, and versatile, leather works hard for its spot in your wardrobe. While we do recommend heading to a specialist for any cleaning of your leather and suede pieces, they should not need cleaning regularly. It's important to follow any specific instructions provided on your garment's care label.

What to do:

  • Take your items to a specialist leather dry cleaner.
  • Use a leather or suede protectant.
  • Use a leather balm or conditioner to keep the leather looking fresh.
  • Test any products on an inconspicuous spot first.
  • Spot clean leather with a damp cloth.
  • Use a suede brush to remove any dust or dirt.
  • Dry at room temperature if your piece gets wet.
  • Store leather pieces hung up in a cool, dry spot.
  • Choose your leather conditioners carefully - choose a neutral option for dyed leather to keep colour as new.
  • Check the care tag on your leather pieces for best washing advice.

What not to do:

  • Use anything abrasive on your leather or suede, or rub it when wet.
  • Use heat on your leather.
  • Store your leather garments in plastic.
  • Keep your pieces in direct sunlight – this can cause them to fade.
  • Let your leather garments into contact with sharp or abrasive surfaces, or get wet.
