Denim Care
Durable and universally loved, denim deserves a spot in every wardrobe. It doesn’t need to be washed often, it’s hard-wearing, and it shapes to your body with wear and time. It only gets better with age and care.
What to do:
- Turn denim inside out to wash.
- Gentle machine wash in cold water.
- Wash with like colours.
- Wash darker denim before first wear.
- Use a mild detergent.
- Give your denim a shake to remove creases after washing.
- Air dry.
- Avoid contact between darker denim and lighter coloured upholstery and garments.
- Steam or iron inside out.
- Hang or fold your denim and store it in a cool, dry spot.
- Check the care tag on your denim for best washing advice.
What not to do:
- Tumble dry.
- Allow denim to air dry in direct sunlight.
- Wash regularly.
